Lupiañez Lab 3D Genomics

“How can one fit 2 meters of DNA inside the nucleus of a cell?”
“Simple! You just need to fold it in the right way.”

The Tao of the Genome

Our laboratory is interested in this beautiful but complex question. In other words, we seek to understand gene regulation in the context of a 3D genome. Using in vivo models, we aim to decipher how cell fate is set, maintained, and encoded in vertebrate genomes.
